Two years qu ' we talk about. Two years that Renault announces a revolution in the field of l ' automobile. Two years qu ' promise us “an electric vehicle at the price of ' a diesel”.

Huge battery

L ' livability is equivalent to that of the thermal Fluence. Renault has lengthened the car of 13 cm to offset the place occupied by l ' huge battery (280 kg) located behind the seat.
This battery on-board much d ' energy (22 useful kWh) which allows a proper autonomy. In the tests measured autonomies range from 150 to over 200 km. For our part, in the city, air conditioning on, we come 89 kilometres.

Unlike its competitors, Renault chose wound synchronous motor. It seems a priori more rustic but it offers record performance (98%) over a range.
Its torque is available to start (from 0 to 50 km/h in 4, 1 s, or 2 s less qu ' a thermal Fluence), but also in the towers, guarantee of dynamic times (from 80 to 120 km/h in 10, 1 s).

For the battery of the Fluence Z.E., Renault chose lithium ion manganese technology used by Nissan on the Leaf.
